It’s hard to say goodbye to you, A friend that used to be so true, We used to always see eye to eye, But now I think of you and sigh.
I know we grew so far apart, And now we both need to just depart, You’ve gone your way and that’s just fine, I guess I should have read the signs.
Every time I think of you, A thought of loss brought to my mind, A couple tears brought to my eyes, I missed you friend, that’s no lie.
I don’t know what I should say, I tell the truth, and you walk away, I don’t know what I should do, I’ve forgot my lines, and it’s my cue.
This is the final farewell, the end, To you, my used to be friend, This pain, I can’t hold much longer, So goodbye before we go much farther.
