Random Poem

Beating on the door,
howling at the break,
clawing at the latch-less,
of my own make.
Bloody knuckles
and rawed throat
wont get me past
this gate.
Until I settle
and I open
up my thoughts & sight:
it was my eyes I was clawing at
and the door in my mind.
