Random Poem

The roaring in my ears keeps getting louder
Soon to take over my whole world.
Days fly by and nights seem to drag
Losing control and memories I have.
Mind swept blank and heart filled with pain
Slowly losing to this game we call shame.
Tears and blood join as one
The game isn't over it's only begun.
Sneaking shadows hide in the dark
Silently they breathe, silently they lurk.
Slowly reaching towards the light
Grabbing and groping this just can't be right.
Horrified you watch as the light seems to fade
Being dragged to the darkness and the everlasting shade.
Helplessly you watch as the light screams in fear
Bellowing words of comfort that it cannot hear.
One day the light will have to stop shining
Forever enveloped in the darkness' binding.
