Random Poem

Silence lurks inside of these walls
Choking me with my own wicked fears
Ever small creek is a scream from an undiscovered spirit
Begging to be heard
Every thump is a cry from the unseen
Something is watching me
Analyzing my every move
Waiting for me to turn my back
Waiting to prey on my very fears
The fears that once haunted them when they had flesh
Smiling because they no longer fear of anything
For they see everything
If I listen carefully I can hear them breathing
I can feel there breath on my neck
Cold as ice
Yet stings eternally for I know not their next move
I stare trying so hard to make the shadows come to life
Hoping I will see my stalker
Yet nothing
I wait and wait yet nothing

Something is watching me
Something is following me

I know not where
I know not what

Yet something is there, watching with an undistracted stare…………
