Random Poem

It hangs in the black,
Amongst the countless diamonds,
But does not sparkle as they do.

Sometimes, when you look upon it,
It's as if an artist drew it with a piece of chalk,
Then smudged it into the darkness.

Down below,
People are bathed in its enthralling light,
A romantic addition.

Perhaps it tastes of cheese,
And is infested by mice,
Cheddar, Edam or Stilton maybe.

Let it illuminate your every tear,
That may drip down your pale skin,
In its light tears can be beautiful.

When it's full,
It brings the out the wolves,
Listen as they howl.

Think of rockets and astronauts,
Spaceships, shuttles,
And no gravity.

But it's a lonely thing,
Never meeting with its fiery opposite,
Just a reflection.
