Oh, the songs about rain,
so many they are.
They speak about pain,
it seems so bizarre.

They need to be glad,
not bitter, but sweet.
Rain is not bad,
it cools off the heat.

It wets the ground,
letting the grass grow.
It makes a sweet sound
as the winds blow.

And as I sleep
the long night away,
The world will leap
in joy the next day.
