Pins & needles in my skin
going through this pain again
it's nothing new to persevere
how hurt I am
laying here

laying here
facing the fear
of many
laying here
just to feel
worthy

I've seen enough
more than one should
I've seen enough
more than one could
Withstanding the thought
that I'm all alone
with no one beside me
no one to hold

Picking myself apart
tearing piece by piece
How long can this go on?
the pain will never cease

Saying goodbye
as I walk away
the truth is there
bright as day
As scared as I am
I just turn around
and keep on walking
as tears hit the ground

One last thing is left to say
the heart gets lonely
with each passing day
I hope you miss me
as I fade to black
I hope you see
there's no turning back
