Random Poem

her heart beat steadily

as she walked

her fake smile

fooling the crowd

looking at her

youd think there was nothing wrong

for she never let the world see the true her

she hid behind guarded eyes

youd never think

there was a boy who made her this way

he was her best friend

she could tell him anything

she fell for him

he'll never know

for fear grips her tongue

when she tries to speak

everyone says theyd be perfect for each other

3 years later

and shes tired

girls come and go in his life

each one breaking her heart

she tells him shes happy for him

breaking her heart with every word

hed smile and say thanks, I Love You

if only he knew

he was killing her slowly

everytime he said that

guys would come and go in her life

everytime hed ask " do you love him"

everytime shed say

"no, theres only one guy who has my heart"

one night the pain was to much

he was the one who found her

an empty pill bottle in one hand

a note in the other

" IT WAS YOU"

was all it said

numb the boy stood thinking

if only she knew

his heart had always belonged to her
