Weight Off Your Shoulders

I'm not supposed to,
Feel like this,
I feel so lost,
In the abyss.

Your hand is cold,
When it grabs mine,
You grip tightly,
A grip unkind.

I wanted more,
Than I could get,
I wished for stars,
That didn't exist.

The pain is gone,
Along with me,
In a black hole,
In a deep sea.

You let go of me,
You let me fall,
You laughed,
I cried,
And that was all,
I saw your face,
Filled with glee,
At the sight,
Of losing me.

I suppose my sanity,
Was an issue,
For you and me,
Was this not why,
You let me fall,
To get rid of this weight,
On your shoulders.

Was I really that bad,
That far gone,
That mad,
Did you not love my blood,
My screams,
For love.
