I reach for you,
Only to realize,
You never existed,
You were a dream,
Unreachable,
I wanted something,
That was never here,
And that realization,
Rips me apart.

You were such a good dream,
One I'll never forget,
You've changed me,
I could've sworn you were real,
But you've disappeared.

I walk through my days,
Searching for you,
The perfect lover,
But no one resembles,
Not even a bit,
What you resembled to me.

BlueEyedPoet: its good. only one thing, the line "but no one resembles" might be better put as "but there's no one that resembles" it makes it more understandable. just some friendly advice. :) but other than that, good job!
