i'm sorry for the time ive wasted
and every dollar spent
reality's here time to face it
and confess my sins, repent
i'm sorry for the words i've yelled
and every curse i've thought
i'm sorry for the lies i told
and all the lies you bought
i'm sorry for the tears that formed
in your eyes because of me
i'm sorry for the perfect storm
i took you through with ease
i'm sorry for the promises
i broke without regret
and every trust you gave to me
that i did soon forget
i'm sorry for the pains i've caused
in the life of you and others
now i take the time to pause
over all the cries i've smothered
i'm sorry that your reading this
and never knowing why
in life I've always missed
more than meets the eye
i'm sorry for the truth
which most cannot accept
because i've been too rude
or missed the whole concept
i'm sorry for forgiveness
that covers all our lives
but in truth it's this
i've been missing all my life
i'm sorry i rejected you
and left you all alone
i'm sorry i corrected you
when no need was ever shown
i'm sorry that i beat you
and caused the cries you've cried
i'm sorry i can't treat you
the way you might of liked
i'm sorry for salvation
that takes away my life
and makes a new creation
thus setting the wrongs to right
i'm sorry for religion
this confusing thing of mind
that causes more division
when then truth is all we need to find
i'm sorry for your heart
and all the wounds inflicted
and for every missing part
that makes your life conflicted
i'm sorry for this earth
that's gone so far down the drain
so let's go and break this curse
that's been driving us insane
this is a poem from me to all of you
in response to all of your memories
apologizing for all the pains you've felt and endured because of me or any other person, people.
i'm sorry. and will you forgive me?
im so sorry for all the pains we all have to go through and all the ones we've already gone through i just pray that we may learn from our pains the right ways to act and react to life
and not react selfishly or with bitterness in our hearts, please tag me if you'd like to talk or have something in common with this poem...
