Random Poem

You, an empty pit
So thin
Fragrance hollow, lashes damp
Out here in a clearing where
The crows scream ill, wings bled dry
Hands without a mitten’s care
Sobbing as the clouds draw near
Veins—these brackets good to scar
A lily within her space
Lachrymose tune, a pulse lost within
A smooth paper blouse with tulip’s bile
Comatose Virtue, thrown without grace
And where was I to save it?

MaDgEnIuS: Interesting poem. I'm wondering what you're alluding to in the last two lines.

Miles2go505: I think your poem shows how depressed and lonely everyone feels and a somber hollowness of something deep deep within. You have a lot of talent!
