Random Poem

As I pull off the cap, reminded of the sky
I know there’ll be a mess on my crinkled palm
So drilling the glitter through the whole of my hand
Fingers now chafed, hangnails cursing
With a Mexican trill… “Date Prisa!”
Well, I get down to business
Over those smears and through the lids
Splendid ice, “mis ojos brillan”
Over and over, layers and layers
Just born on this skin, tumbleweed thin
Dappled and wrinkled much more with each stroke
Each jab, each creamy mudslide shining
Stretching those corners, Chinese eyes
Shut down for a second, testing the feel
Of kung fu glamour, foil in the mirror
Admitting it looks quite weird
