Random Poem

rattle my body
shake my soul
tell me everything I want to know
why'd you have to take my boy away from me?
Lord knows he didn't do anything to suffice
the penalty of death
he was a good man
strong and true
and he never gave up
no matter what he was asked to do
he was my anchor
my idol
my rock
but above all
he served as my hero
he never deserved any of this
never deserved to be rotting
in a single solitary cell six feet under
Lord, I hope he's up in Heaven
watching over me
and I hope all of his problems are over
'cause they were never meant to be
I wish I could speak to him one last time
and make sure he knows I love him
as the rain falls down
I know that Heaven cries
the last remaining tears
of a boy too young to die
