I was a different man before then,
Filled with darkness and no hope of light.
Putting on myself a viel of lies,
Needing someone to make it alright.
But I was changed seeing your brown eyes.

No one knew the secrets about me;
None really even cared who I was.
Even I knew of my own disguise.
Really, I was a boy without cause
But I was changed seeing your brown eyes.

Could a broken heart be right again?
Could anyone find its remains?
All along knowing none heard my cries.
I knew that no one could save my pains.
But I was changed seeing your brown eyes.

Maybe there is another to trust.
Such a novel emotion you bring.
Though I don’t compete with other guys
Right now, I need you to know one thing.
You save me every day with your brown eyes.
