You wish that I would tell you
the secrets that I keep
but I sit and stare at you
as you slowly speak

"Why can't you listen to me?
I need an answer now.
How can you forget things so easliy?
Please tell me, how."

But I'm not paying attention
as I stare at your grey eyes
I never listen to you
because you are whome I despise

You never treated me like you care
yet you say "I love you"
but saying it isn't enough
you need to show it too.

My oldest brother, you care about
you cried when he moved away
Even Kory, you care about
although you'd never say.

You see I know these things
because of how you show it.
You buy Kory expensive stuff
even if he lost or someone stole it

Me, all you do is yell
you'd like to trade pains with me?
My knee, yeah it's not all THAT bad
but you'd also take my memories

If you knew what happened
even for just a year
you'd want to trade back with me
it's too hurtful to be there

You say you know what it's like
no you don't, you're not me
just like you're not my friend's parents
although I'd like you to be

That's what I think about
as you scream and yell
but you'll never know that truth
because I'll never tell
