if you've ever cried out in pain
then i've shared my screams with you
feeling like my heart's in chains
as my eyes weep with the truth

i'm enslaved by destruction
of all the lovely kinds
this pain's an obstruction
on all of our young mind's

as our eyes weep like an ocean
flooding the world with our despair
the rivers stay in motion
and were the only ones that care

as a generation of teens
we need to stay together
indifference is in our genes
we were made for something better

so if you see a person
suffering from some pain
don't let it worsen
be there to share the same

all we got is each other
no one else really cares
so lets be sisters and brothers
and all our burdens we will share

this is a call for unity
a call to throw down the dividing lines
and get in touch with who we really are
a generation under enemy fire

greenlover74: i read alll the ones you plosted, there were a lot so i decided to leave feedback on the last one i read.......they were soo good, you have no idea, your my favorite writer on this site, and the one i talk to most when im on, you are very sweet, n whoever that girl is that your talking about in your poems, i think she should b in love with you!!
