I saw you in my dreams
I wish it were as it seemed
You kissed my lips; it felt so real
At that instant, you made me feel
Like nothing mattered except for us
Again, I was longing for your touch
You held my hand and all was right
In the dark there shone our light
But then a horrid thing occurred
My dream now was just a blur
Back to reality I went
I never knew what that dream meant
As I lie here on my bed
Puzzling thoughts run through my head:
“Who are you?” and “Why’d you leave me?”
